Obra Social Caja Madrid dedicates its effort towards the promotion of contemporary creation through its interventions program at La Casa Encendida. Tamara Arroyo, Marcelo Cidade, Lucia Koch, Carolina Silva, and Irene van de Mheen have presented works specifically created for the space at La Casa Encendida; corridors and staircases, the patio and the terrace, have all hosted their creations integrating today´s art within the everyday life of the art centre.The book compiles the work of these five artists. Each artist has been able to choose the way of presenting their interventions through photographs of their installations and sketches of their work. Javier Hontoria´s interview structures the different presentations, giving voice to each one of them.
